Healthy Snacks for Diabetic friends: Nuts and Trail Mixes- Should I buy? Amazon Review

It's a green light for my diabetic friends to eat nuts and seeds as a snack. However, getting a snack through nuts and trail mix is a totally different story. There's so many hidden sugars, saturated fat and other problems.  Here's my discovery of products on Amazon that may appeal.

While I was searching for Amazon products, and without added sugar. one result that popped out was this:

Interesting, its organic but in the ingredients list there is 5g of sugars, 2g comes from added sugar.

So, my search continues.

Yes, its true, it doesnt have added sugar. But, the label says it has 11gm of sugar overall. Im guessing its from the fruit. Next item then..

3.  Food to Live Organic Antioxidant Trail Mix, 1 Pound — Contains Mulberries, Goji Berries, Golden Berries, Pumpkin Seeds, Hazelnuts, Cashews. Non-GMO, Non-Irradiated, No Sugar, Vegan Superfood, Bulk

I like the fact that I get many different Seeds, Nuts, Berries and even Goji berries. This doesnt have added sugar, but ingredients list sugar about 5gms, probably from the natural sweetness of berries. So, depending on how much sugar you can allow into your diet.

ORGANIC RAISINS, ORGANIC SUNFLOWER KERNELS, ORGANIC PUMPKIN KERNELS, ORGANIC CASHEWS, ORGANIC ALMONDS. Vegan Superfood Snack, Kosher, No Added Sugar and Oil, Bulk

This is all organic and no added sugar. However, ingredients label shows 8g per 1/2 cup

Conclusion is, its quite difficult to find trail mixes with no sugar, the above items, least sugar in it is abt 5g per serving, mostly from the dried food.
