A quick search on amazon yields so many choices, but lets have a look if it matches my criteria.
1) Rhythm Superfoods Original Kale Chips, 2 Oz
Price: 6.73
What I Like: Description of product states that the kale chips are dried and not fried. Its dehydrated under low heat, so that its nutrients are not lost.
What I' m weighing in on : Per serving, it contains 7g carbo and 1g of added sugar, with a total of 2g sugar. Hmm... why did they add sugar! Interestingly, listed on amazon, ingredients is just kale chips. But looking at the packaging, it states quite many things, including organic carrot, onion and of course sugar.
2) Mushgarden Shiitake Mushroom Chips Low Calorie Snack, Sea Salt 4pk
Price: 25.97
Description of this item states that they cook it at low pressure and low temperatures to preserve its nutritional elements. However, looking into more details of its process shows that it is first blanch, frozen and VACUUM FRIED. Its a better type of frying as it uses less oil but nonetheless, this is something to take note.
What i like: The numerous health benefits of Shiitake Mushroom including fibers for better digestion, improving immune system.
What I dont Like: 24g of carbo per serving! and 10g of sugars, including 4g of added sugar. Yikes that's a lot.
Price: 13.97
This is their description:
